Root Canal Treatments

Special procedure used to conserve or save badly infected, decayed or painful teeth or teeth chipped or broken due to trauma by treating the tooth's pulp. This is usually done in one or two sittings depending on the amount of infection.

Root canal treatment involves removing the infected tissue, cleansing and sealing the canal of the tooth and restoring the tooth with a crown, or cap.

During root canal therapy, our Endodontist will:

Ensure you are comfortable and feel no pain

Clean the root canal out

Seal it off to protect it from further damage

Place a temporary filling or crown over the tooth to strengthen it until a permanent restoration can be placed

Once a permanent restoration has been done, your tooth is ready for years of chewing and smiling.
